1. Introduction
Conecta Canada Agency Ltd., operating as Scale & Wealth (“Scale & Wealth,” “we,” “us,” “our”), respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect through finance.isaacjaime.com and our related forms, calls, and messaging programs; why we collect it; who we share it with; and the choices and rights you have.
It applies to prospective and current clients, advisor applicants, and site visitors. It is written to meet Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the BC and Alberta Personal Information Protection Acts, applicable United States federal and state privacy law, and the mobile-messaging privacy requirements of the CTIA and US wireless carriers under A2P 10DLC.

3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Identity and contact details — name, email address, mobile and other phone numbers, mailing address, city, province or state, postal or ZIP code, country, preferred language.
- Enquiry details (clients) — the coverage area you are interested in, existing coverage, dependants, employment or business ownership status, financial obligations you choose to describe, and anything else you volunteer in a free-text field or on a call.
- Application details (advisor candidates) — hours per week available, whether you already hold an insurance licence, province or state, your written answer to “why are you looking at this now,” and any exam or licensing dates.
- Underwriting-related information (only when you proceed to an application) — date of birth, health and lifestyle history, income and financial details, and beneficiary information, collected on carrier forms. This is sensitive information and is handled as described in Section 9.
- Communications — the content of emails, text messages, form submissions, meeting notes, and call notes.
- Consent records — whether you ticked a messaging consent box, the exact wording shown to you, and the date, time, and IP address of submission. We keep this because carriers and regulators can require proof of consent.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and the campaign or ad that brought you to us.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
3.3 Information we do not want
Please do not send social insurance or social security numbers, banking or card details, or medical information by text message or through a web form. If you send sensitive information through an insecure channel, we will move it into a secure channel and delete it from the insecure one where technically possible.
4. Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To respond to you — answering enquiries, booking and confirming consultations, and following up on requests you initiated.
- To assess and service coverage — preparing a needs analysis, obtaining quotes, submitting applications to carriers, and servicing policies in force.
- To evaluate advisor applications — reviewing, prioritising, and following up on applications to join the practice.
- To send messages you asked for — text and email communications, strictly within the consent you gave.
- To improve the site and our marketing — analytics, measuring which campaigns work.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations — insurance regulator record-keeping, anti-money-laundering rules, and proof-of-consent requirements.
We rely on your consent (express or implied, as applicable) under Canadian privacy law, and on the necessity of processing to take steps at your request and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not engage in “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws.
5. Automated and AI-assisted processing
We use AI-assisted systems to organise, summarise, and prioritise incoming enquiries and advisor applications — for example, ranking which enquiries a licensed advisor should follow up with first, and drafting internal summary notes.
These systems do not make decisions about you. They do not approve or decline insurance, determine premiums, or make hiring, contracting, or eligibility decisions. Every decision affecting you is made by a person. Our systems are configured to exclude protected characteristics — including age, race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, marital or family status, and veteran status — from any prioritisation logic, and to disregard such information even where you volunteer it.
You may ask us how your information was categorised, ask us to review any internal prioritisation manually, or ask us to correct information used in it. Contact info@isaacjaime.com.
6. Text messaging (SMS) and your mobile information
This section applies to our two messaging programs — Scale & Wealth Client Communications and Scale & Wealth Advisor Recruiting — both of which currently send from +1 778-650-3023.
6.1 The commitment on mobile data
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
All of the categories of sharing described in Section 8 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your mobile number or your messaging consent to any third party, affiliate, data broker, or lead generator for any purpose. The only parties who receive your mobile number in connection with messaging are the communications providers that transmit messages on our behalf under contract, solely so the message reaches your phone — never for their own marketing.
6.2 How consent is collected
Messaging consent is collected through a standalone checkbox that is unchecked by default, is separate from acceptance of our Terms of Service and this Policy, and is never required to submit a form, obtain a quote, purchase a product, or be considered as an advisor candidate. Consent may also be given by texting START to 778-650-3023, or verbally to a representative, in which case we log the number, date, time, and exact consent language.
6.3 What we do with your mobile number
We use it only to send the messages described in the program you joined, and to reach you by phone about your enquiry, policy, or application. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
6.4 Withdrawing consent
Reply STOP to any message at any time (we also honour STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT), or email info@isaacjaime.com or call 778-650-3023 with the number to remove. You will receive one confirmation message, then nothing further.
Because both programs currently send from the same number, replying STOP ends text messages from both. If you want to leave one program and stay in the other, contact us and we will adjust it manually. Opting out of SMS does not unsubscribe you from email — those are separate controls. Reply HELP for assistance.
Withdrawing consent has no effect on your policy, application, or candidacy.
6.5 Consent records after opt-out
When you opt out we retain a suppression record — your number and the fact and date of the opt-out — so that we do not message you again. We keep this for as long as necessary to honour your request and to demonstrate compliance. This is the only mobile data we keep after opt-out.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. These include:
- Strictly necessary — site functionality, form submission, security.
- Analytics — Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, to understand aggregate usage and site performance.
- CRM tracking — GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, to associate a form submission with the page and campaign it came from.
We do not currently run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. If that changes, this section will be updated before any such technology is deployed.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our consent banner. Blocking non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the site or submitting a form. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
8. When and with whom we share information
We share personal information only as follows — and, as stated in Section 6.1, mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category below.
- Your MGA and insurance carriers — World Financial Group (WFG) and the issuing carriers, when you ask us to obtain a quote or submit an application. They act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
- Service providers acting on our instructions — CRM and marketing automation (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), SMS and voice transmission, email delivery, calendar and video conferencing, cloud storage and productivity (Google Workspace), website hosting and analytics (Vercel, Google Analytics), and AI processing providers used for the internal summarisation and prioritisation described in Section 5. Each is bound by contract to use the information only to provide the service to us.
- Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers, and compliance auditors, under confidentiality.
- Regulators and law enforcement — where required by law, court order, or an insurance regulator’s authority, including the Insurance Council of British Columbia, the Alberta Insurance Council, FSRA (Ontario), and the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions.
- A successor entity — in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the practice, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with lead generators, data brokers, or third-party marketers.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — encryption in transit, access controls and multi-factor authentication on our systems, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the applicable regulator as required by law.
10. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not proceed — up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.
- Client and policy records — for the life of the policy and at least seven (7) years after it ends, or longer where an insurance regulator, carrier, or MGA requires it.
- Advisor applications that do not proceed — up to 24 months.
- Messaging consent and opt-out records — for as long as needed to honour your choice and evidence compliance.
11. Your rights and choices
Subject to legal limits, you may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw consent to marketing communications, or to any processing not required by law or by an active policy;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain;
- ask how information was used, including in any AI-assisted prioritisation;
- where US state law applies to you, exercise the rights that law provides, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising — noting that we do not sell personal information — and to be free from discrimination for exercising them.
To exercise any right, contact info@isaacjaime.com. We will verify your identity and respond within thirty (30) days, or tell you if we need more time. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
Complaints. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or Alberta, or the Attorney General in your US state.
12. Children
The site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact info@isaacjaime.com and we will delete it.
13. Cross-border transfers
We operate in Canada and the United States, and our service providers may store or process information in either country or elsewhere. Information stored outside your country may be accessible to courts and law enforcement in that jurisdiction under its laws. We use contractual and technical protections comparable to those described in this Policy.
14. Third-party sites
Our site links to third-party sites and tools we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them; review their own policies.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — particularly to Section 6 — will be posted here before taking effect. Where the law requires it, we will obtain fresh consent rather than rely on a posted update.
